SUSTAINABILITY
Scaling Infrastructure Responsibly
We believe the infrastructure powering tomorrow's intelligence should be developed with consideration for the people, communities and environments that make it possible
At Neuro.io, our approach extends beyond computing performance. We consider how infrastructure interacts with local energy systems, natural resources and the surrounding community, and seek opportunities to create lasting value while making thoughtful choices about our environmental footprint.
01 / 04
- 01
Building on what already exists
Where appropriate, we explore opportunities to repurpose existing industrial and energy infrastructure
By making productive use of established sites, grid connections and supporting facilities, we seek to build on existing resources and support the continued economic development of the regions in which we operate
- 02
Energy with a long-term perspective
Energy availability, reliability and sourcing are important considerations in our infrastructure strategy
Several of the locations we are evaluating benefit from access to electricity grids with significant renewable generation. We consider these characteristics alongside infrastructure efficiency, operational requirements and long-term scalability. Our approach is to make informed energy decisions that reflect the circumstances of each location.
- 03
Respecting natural resources
Every location has its own environmental characteristics and considerations
We consider local conditions when evaluating cooling technologies, water requirements and opportunities for resource efficiency, including heat recovery where technically and economically appropriate. Our aim is to develop infrastructure solutions that are suited to their environments and mindful of the resources available.
- 04
Growing alongside our communities
We believe successful infrastructure development should consider the communities in which it takes place
This means recognizing the importance of constructive local relationships, responsible development practices and opportunities for regional economic participation. We see our infrastructure projects as part of a wider ecosystem of people, businesses and communities.
OUR COMMITMENT
As Neuro.io grows, we will continue developing our approach to responsible infrastructure, informed by technological progress, environmental considerations and the needs of the communities close to our sites.
For us, responsible infrastructure is about making thoughtful decisions today while keeping a long-term perspective on the places and people connected to our work.
